Trust
Trust, by design.
AERO is designed to guide your work while keeping consequential actions in your hands.
Human control
AERO shows the next move. You perform the consequential actions. It does not silently take over the computer, click in your place, or finish a task without you.
After you act, AERO is designed to check the result against the screen you share — so verification follows your work, not an autonomous agent.
Context and screen understanding
AERO needs enough of the current screen to suggest a next move. How that context is gathered today is still the screenshot you choose to send on the web. The Windows Ball can take one local frame when you ask — it does not watch in the background, and that frame is not uploaded or analyzed yet.
Today
Current web experience
- You start a mission in Mission Control, then choose and submit one screenshot.
- AERO sees that screen only after you explicitly select the image. There is no background capture in the browser.
- Later steps can ask for another screenshot the same way — you choose when to send it.
- A submitted screenshot can be kept with your private session so AERO can guide and verify. You can delete a screenshot or the session.
Windows Ball
Installed companion
- A Windows Ball companion can be installed and opened from Mission Control when you choose.
- Opening it does not tell the web whether the Ball is running or connected.
- The Ball stays idle until you ask it to capture. Tray “Show AERO this screen” captures the display that contains the Ball. Capture target lets you choose another display, or the visible on-screen region of an application window. Capture ends after one frame.
- That frame stays on this computer until you discard it or choose it in Mission Control. Capture does not start by itself, does not record continuously, and is not uploaded until you submit the PNG yourself. A window capture is the visible rectangle, not an isolated window — overlapping windows can appear.
Sensitive information
Treat what you share as deliberate. Do not type or upload passwords, one-time codes, or private keys. AERO is designed to work from the visible task, not from secrets.
Guidance should stay tied to the current mission and avoid asking for more context than that task needs. This is a design principle — not a promise that AERO never encounters sensitive data, and not a certification.
What AERO will not do
- Take consequential actions in the background without you.
- Show a computer as connected or online when it is not.
- Launch the desktop Ball on its own.
- Speak more confidently than the current screen supports.
- Claim every application is certified to work with AERO.
Current product status
Signed-in Mission Control on the web is available, including Library and Settings. You start missions there and submit screenshots when you choose to.
A Windows Ball companion can be installed and opened from Mission Control. The web does not track whether it is running. One-shot Ball capture stays local until you choose the PNG in Mission Control. On-screen desktop guidance and a browser extension are not generally available.
